Patriot VB Sweeps Raiders
The Lady Patriots swept the Raiders in an amazing display of teamwork on Tuesday, September 26. All three levels defeated Logan View/Scribner-Snyder in the minimum amount of sets required to take the match.
Both C Team and JV won their games in two sets as well.
Varsity came out strong and took LVSS in three. The Lady Pats won by a margin of 12 in the first set, 15 in the second, and 13 in the third.
“We played really well! We definitely controlled the tempo of the game and executed every chance we could get,” said head coach Becky Schneider. “LVSS was really scrappy and picked up a lot of the stuff we threw at them, but we were able to stay on offense and keep attacking! It was a really good win for us to start the week!”
"This game was probably our most sound game as a team so far this season. We started strong and finished just as good, which allowed us to win in three sets easily,” said senior Hannah Kasik. “I'm excited to see the success my team could potentially have! We just need to continue to work hard and keep our focus."
