Patriots Sweep St. Francis Flyers

For the last regular season home game this volleyball season, all the parents of the players were recognized for being there to support everyone. The seven seniors were also acknowledged for the hard work and dedication they have put into this amazing sport.

The Patriots would face off against the St. Francis Flyers for this homecoming week game.

The C Team kicked off the night with a win against St. Francis in two sets. JV followed suit by beating the Flyers in three.

The varsity squared off against St. Francis and came out powerful and strong enough to defeat them in three sets. All in all, the Patriots were just unstoppable; they swung hard and dug up nearly every ball.

“The St. Francis game was awesome!  We played really well against them.  Everyone was on from the passing to setting to attacking to blocking and defense!” said head coach Becky Schneider. “We played really loose and did all the little things right! We kept the energy high throughout the game which made the crowd get into it which in turn made it an awesome atmosphere!”

Senior, Holly Kuhr agreed.

“We came out with really high energy and really proved ourselves after a loss to LHNE. I think that I speak for the whole team when I say playing the way we did against St. Francis was so much fun. We are at a high point, and I’m excited to go into conference with this good vibe.”
