Patriots Fall to LHNE

Bump, set, spike! Shelby Rising City and Lutheran High Northeast came down to Clarkson to play against the Patriots earlier this season.

The first game against Shelby Rising City was a great game, and the Patriots took the win. Then in the next game against LHNE, the Patriots suffered a loss, with both sets being 22-25.

Cassidy Hoffman said, “During the SRC game, we definitely didn’t come out with as much energy as we usually do. Even though we won that game, the energy level was still not up to the usual. We fought hard against Lutheran High, but just couldn’t get anything to fit together.”

Head coach Rebecca Schneider said, “Playing Shelby-Rising City first, we started out really slow. We didn't come out with a whole lot of energy and excitement. I'm glad we were able to pick it up a little bit and finish that game with a win.

“Going into the next game against LHNE, I thought we'd be more energetic and pick up our game play because we had a great warmup!  We had some big plays and played well at times, however, we couldn't quite put anything together and get into a rhythm. We just had an off night.”

The Patriots record is now 15-5.
