Volleyball Takes Down Knights

The Lady Patriots brought home a set of three wins on October 16 after they traveled to Oakland to face off against the Oakland-Craig Knights. Each level came out the victor in all the matches.

C Team kicked off the night with a solid win against the Knights. They won the first two sets with scores of 25-15 and 25-14.

JV followed suit, but it went into three sets. They still came out with the W with scores of 25-14, 23-25, and finally 15-8.

The Varsity team battled hard and meshed well. They took Oakland-Craig in three sets with the scores getting closer as the night went on. The first set ended up being 25-10, the second being 25-23, and the third set finishing the night with a score of 27-25.

“We came out super aggressive against Oakland-Craig,” said senior Holly Kuhr. “We got the win which gives us even more motivation as we approach subdistricts.”

“Tuesday night was a success for Patriot Volleyball. Each contest ending with a Patriot Victory. The girls came out worked hard and focused in on playing their best,” assistant coach Briana Wietfeld said. “We were able to jump over little obstacles that got in our way, by playing as a team and being vocal. Great night for the Patriots.”
