For the second year in a row, the East Husker Conference One-Act Play Production competition was held at Leigh on Tuesday, November 13. As the last play to perform out of nine total plays, the Leigh One-Act team ended the long day with their entertaining play.
Leigh’s play, Phantom of the Playground, took second place out of nine total plays!
Leigh cast earned several “Outstanding Actor and Actress” honors. Actors and actresses that were recognized for their performance were Reagan Settje, Cort Pokorney, Kaegan Held, Holly Kuhr, Logan Becher, and Carson Ahrens.
Junior Reagan Settje said, “Conference was our best performance so far in my opinion. We were all reacting and engaged in what was going on. I think once we fix a couple mistakes, we will be ready to go for districts.”
