Shout Outs

Gailen’s Reading 7 class did Flipgrid video responses about the one item or space they would miss most if they were homeless. Reading 7 class is currently doing a nonfiction unit and just read a selection entitled “Homeless’ by Anna Quindlen which is an interview/commentary on the life of some homeless people living in a port authority bus terminal and what they miss most.

4th Grade Tech Class used the Scratch Program to code their toy to speak with Makey Makey.

Michelle’s Junior English class breaking out of “The Crucible” lock box using QR codes.  FYI:  The Lock Boxes are for all to use just ask Kylie:)

Abby’s Tech App students are taking apart a computer tower to conclude their hardware unit.  Students are simultaneously creating an iMovie describing each component of the tower and demonstrating how to disassemble and reassemble the entire tower.  We will use the 20x faster feature in iMovie to speed up the process of taking apart the tower and putting it back together.
