Team Finishes Season 12-2!

The basketball season is over for the nine junior high girls, and what a way to end it! Their season came to a close on Saturday January 19 with a championship medal at the Bancroft-Rosalie/Lyons-Decatur tournament.

Due to illness, only 6 girls were able to play in the tournament, but they still won!

The girls played Bancroft-Rosalie-Lyons-Decatur in the first game and won 21-19. After a four-hour wait, they played Howells-Dodge for the championship, winning for the second time with a score of 28-25. Great job Patriots for a fantastic season!!

Head Coach Murren said, "The girls did a great job this season and finished it off with a 1st place finish at the BRLD Tournament. Overall it was a fantastic season for the JH team as they finished with a record of 12-2. The record was solid, but the individual improvements they made throughout the season fundamentally is the most important takeaway from this season. It was a fun season!"
