Banquet Held for Leigh Clarkson FFA
Launch the media gallery 1 player“To practice brotherhood, honor agricultural opportunities and responsibilities, and develop those qualities of leadership, which an FFA member should possess.” This was stated loud and clear at the 2019 FFA banquet. The event was held at 7 pm, April 29, with the member auction following.
Honors were given to members who were awarded with their Greenhand Award, Chapter Degree, and State Degree. Other awards were handed out for top grades in ag classes. End of the year speeches were given from the retiring officers.
The Honorary Chapter award was given to Gary Wendt and Jennifer Kapel. This award is given to community members who have shown great interest and help in the FFA organization for our chapter.
The upcoming officers for 2019-2020 school year were announced. The 2019-2020 president is Quintessence Indra and Vice President is Sawyer Kapel.
Brandy Held, the Leigh Clarkson FFA advisor had this to say about the banquet: “I was really happy with how the banquet turned out this year. All FFA members pitched in during the day to set up. We had a great turnout, and it was great seeing people from both communities supporting out organization.”
