Pre-Schoolers Enjoy Fall Festival

143 Vintage put together a quaint fall photo scene.

Leaves are changing color, diesel engines are roaring to life, and high school football and volleyball are in full swing.

Fall is all around us and everyone is getting bit with the autumn fever, even the preschoolers. Preschool teacher Mrs. Tiffany Cash hosted the Preschool Fall Festival and potluck at the Leigh city park on September 26.

The Leigh-Clarkson FFA Chapter and Clarkson-Leigh FCCLA chapter were there to assist in organize and running the games. Some of the games enjoyed by the kids were the seed sack races, cornhole, football toss, rock painting, and farm animal fishing.

High School student Emily Loseke was one student there assisting in the festivities.

“This was a great opportunity to get the preschool community together,” Loseke said. “I know there were lots of new families entering our school system this year, so it was a great way for everyone to get to know each other and have some fun. For anyone wondering, yes, painting rocks is an awesome idea, and parents, kids, and myself had a blast painting everything in sight. Thanks to everyone who helped make this a success!”

Preschool Teacher and host of the event Mrs. Tiffany Cash had plenty to say about the success of the Fall Fest:

Through the generosity of the FFA, FCCLA, Leigh Public Library, 143 Vintage, and so many others our Pre-K Fall Festival was a success! The FFA, and FCCLA helped organize and set up fun games for Pre-K students to play together with friends and families. A photo booth was arranged by Samantha Wietfeld's 143 Vintage in Leigh for families to capture memories. Family members made this experience even more enjoyable with bringing in amazing meals, and desserts to share with everyone! We are so fortunate to live in a community that is supportive, and willing to be involved in school events.”
