Thank you to Cornhusker Power’s Goodwill Fund for donating $300 to our future library for charging stations for the kids!
World Read Aloud Day was on February 5th: This is celebrated globally to celebrate literacy for all. K-6th graders at Leigh Elementary listened to the story T-Bone the Drone by Shanda McCloskey read by Lanette Bathen (retired educator & my mom). Then students created art that was from a bird’s eye view like they were in a drone led by Jim Bathen (retired elementary principal & my dad). Then the lights went out and a floating drone took flight. What a fun day to enjoy reading. Thank you for everyone’s help and flexibility!!
Mrs. Sayers’s Multimedia class is creating 6 word short stories on iMovie.
