Their last game of the tournament was another loss, this time to O’Neill. They were again beat in two sets. The first set was 17-25, and the second set was another close one with its final score being 24-26.

“Even though we lost, we did pretty well as a team,” freshman Sydney Reeves said. “We had great serves and some good setups. We still have some work to do, but I am looking forward to seeing what our team will accomplish by the end of the season!”

Coach Briana Wietfeld added, “What a great tournament this was for our girls. We may not have came out on top, but the girls really showed some good things. We played aggressively and were able to set the ball up and make some plays. We had energy and intensity. The girls will continue to work on the little things and grow as a team.”
