Cyclones Take Down O’Neill on Eagle Senior Night

Senior night is always a big deal. Thursday September, 19th, the Cyclones took the O’Neill Eagles senior night from them.

The Cyclones managed to sneak in 3 runs in the sixth inning, holding their opponents to 3 runs as well. The Cyclones only allowed the Eagles one run in the seventh inning and kept swinging from there.

As the Eagles scored one point in the seventh inning, they weren’t able to stop the Cyclones as they rattled off 8 points in the final inning number 8. At the end of the night, the scoreboard read 12-4, Cyclone victory.

Junior Rylee Olson said, “It was an overall really good game. We knew we had to put up a good fight. It wasn't the prettiest in the beginning, but we pulled through as a team in the end, and that's what strengthens us overall.”

Head Coach Adam Indra said, “The girls did a good job of handling O’Neill’s emotion and energy of Senior night. This group of young ladies are meshing really well.”
