Patriots Demolish Raiders
It was an exciting Tuesday night as the Patriot volleyball team faced off against the Loganview/ Scribner-Snyder Raiders.
The JV and C team played a combined four sets. C team won both of their, while JV fell to the Raiders in two.
The varsity team came out fierce and swept LVSS in three. The Lady Pats came out strong in the first two and maintained the lead throughout the entire set. In the third set, they came out a little slower and fell behind at first. They battled back for the win, though.
All sets were very similar in score with them being 25-19, 25-17, and 25-18, respectively.
“We played really well, and came together as a team. I was really proud of the way my team played, and that we were able to pull out the win in three sets,” said junior, Kayden Schumacher.
Kennedy Settje led the team in digs with 10. Stodola and Hoffman had the most kills with 12 a piece.
“LVSS was a really fun match! We played really well as a team and didn’t let errors dictate our game. We did a lot of good things in that match,” says head coach, Becky Schneider. “We served aggressively and attacked as much as possible and tried to keep them out of system. We just need to keep playing together and limit our unforced errors.”
