JV Football Finishes Season 2-2

As the temperature drops more and more and the year comes to a close, we must all accept the fact that fall sports are ending.

The JV football team played their last two games on October 7th against Howells Dodge, and October 14th against Lutheran High Northeast.

They ended the Howells-Dodge game 14-16 in overtime.

“We played a really close, tough game against Howells-Dodge,” sophomore Kanyon Held said.

“Unfortunately, it ended in a disappointing way.”

Against Lutheran High, the Patriots lost 8-38.

“I thought we played a decent game against LHNE,” Held said, “but we just gave up way too many points in the first half to be able to come back.”

The final record for the JV season was 2-2.

JV Coach Jeff Bachman reports on how the season ended:

“I was pleased with how our JV’s progressed and competed throughout the year,” Bachman said. “I feel the team grew and got better each week.”
