Dance Team Hosts Junior High Homecoming Dance
On October 26th, 2019, the Clarkson-Leigh dance team hosted homecoming for the junior high students at the Leigh high school.
Members of the dance team that helped organize the event include coach Rachel Rupprecht seniors Taya Gross, Quintessence Indra, and Brittney Urbanek, and juniors Bethany Rupprecht and Bridget Rupprecht.
The night began with 25 members of the junior high classes dressing up in their best clothes and taking pictures with their classmates. At 9 o’clock the junior high homecoming kicked off to a great start with activities including competing against one another in dance battles and consuming delicious treats. Throughout the night the fun did not stop as the students were given glow in the dark necklaces and bracelets!
Unfortunately, as the enjoyment continued, the clock began winding down in the night. At 11 o’clock the dance ended and students left with a smile across their faces.
The dance team would also like to give a special thanks to Lyle Cattau for donating decorations to make homecoming a lovely evening for the students.
