FFA Holds District LDEs
Audie Tejkl Advances to State in Public Speaking
Another year at District LDE ended well for the Leigh-Clarkson FFA Chapter. Due to inclement weather, the LDE started at 10:30 at Humphrey Public School. A long day of events was ahead for members that competed.
Brandy Held, Leigh-Clarkson FFA advisor said, “We have a large and very tough district, and I am very proud of how each of our members did in there events. All of them finished in the top half and worked hard to receive the ribbons they did. I look forward to seeing how the members who advance to state will do come May!”
Natalie Reeves, senior at Leigh and chapter secretary said “LDE’s were a good start to the FFA competitions for the year. We had one person make it to finals, and Audie Tejkl has the opportunity to represent our chapter at State FFA. Overall it was a good experience for everybody.”
