Junior High Girls BB Continues to Win
The junior high girls’ basketball team continues to do well with a win against the Madison Dragons and the Schuyler Warriors.
The girls played Madison on December 12, picking up wins on both levels. The final score for the eighth graders was 49-6, and the seventh graders final score was 43-4.
They next played Schuyler on December 17, with another two wins, the score for the eighth graders being 49-8, and the seventh graders 19-13.
“Schuyler played with a tight defense and they made us look down the court for options offensively,” Assistant coach Melissa Brabec said. “The girls had some great rebounding and played well as a team. I am proud of how well they are applying some fundamental skills we are working on in practice!”
“We all around had a good game both nights and I am proud of what me and my team have accomplished so far this season!” eighth grader Gracie Eisenmann said.
