JH Boys Basketball Faces David City, St. Ed
The junior high boys’ basketball team has had an outstanding year so far. They have really been making it happen out on the court this year.
Their two last games have been against David City and St. Edward. They played David City on Thursday Jan. 30. The A team lost 15-27, while the B team won 25-19.
Then they played St. Edward on Monday, Feb 3. In this game, both teams won easily with the A team clenching victory 38-20 and B team winning 15-2.
“David City was a very good team we lost to, but that will just make us better in the future” said Jacob Held. “Our St. Edward game gave us the boost we needed. We had confidence, and we showed up and played our game.”
JH boys’ basketball coach Seth Cash said, “B team earned their first win against David City. In contrast, the A team struggled scoring and dropped to 2-2. St. Edward was a great rebound for the A team with Jacob Held scoring a single season high of 19 points. B team also came away with their second win of the season."
