High School Celebrates FFA Week

Every year, FFA chapters around the country celebrate National FFA Week. The purpose is to share what FFA is and the impact it has on members and communities.
FFA week this year started on February 20 with a fun thing for students to do each day starting on Monday with a kernel count, where students had to guess how many kernels were in a jar, and the closest guesser received a prize.
Tuesday was “Wear the Color of your Favorite Tractor Day.”
On Wednesday, the FFA provided donuts to the school before school.
Thursday included an FFA logo hunt around school with the winners receiving prizes, and Friday was everyone’s favorite – “Wear Flannel and Drive an Alternate Vehicle Day.”
Leigh FFA President Makenna Held said, “FFA week went extremely well. We had lots of students participate, and it was lots of fun to see everyone's alternate vehicle on Friday! I am glad we can use CTSOs to come together and get students and teachers involved!”
