Patriot JV Golf Teams Earns Runner-Up

The Clarkson/Leigh JV Golf Team had a JV meet at Club 91 Golf Course in Leigh on April 22, and the Clarkson/Leigh Blue division placed as the runner-up, with 212. The Clarkson/Leigh Red division earned themselves sixth place, with a score of 259.
The highest placer was Jack Brabec, a freshman on the team. He finished with a score of 50, which meant he received 3rd place individually overall. The next highest was seventh place, earned by sophomore Dalton Zulkoski, with 53.
Dalton Zulkoski said, “I think that our team played pretty well. We placed 2nd out of 6 teams. We could get better at putting and lower your score by one every time if you 1 to 2 putt every hole. If we lowered our putting we could have had a chance to get first. Overall we had a good home tournament.”
The remaining players who placed were Jase Indra with 53, Christian Hamernik with 56, James Grotelueschen with 60, Noah Holoubek with 61, Carter Timm with 66, Morgan Bunner with 66, Dexter Indra with 67, and Simon Wemhoff with 72.
