May 1 Golf Invite Pierce

On May 1, 2021, on a beautiful, sunny day in Pierce, NE, the Clarkson-Leigh golfers competed against tough competition.
The Patriot varsity placed 6th out of 13 teams. Pierce won the meet, Battle Creek placed second, and Hartington Cedar Catholic finished third.
Junior golfer Isaac Rodenburg said, “It was a beautiful day out and we shot alright. There was quite a bit of competition, but only Mason placed.”
Sophomore Mason Whitmore finished 15th out of 60 golfers. Mic Sayers was next in 26th place.
Whitmore shot a 94 in 18 holes, and Sayers shot a 99. Ryan Brichacek finished with a 104, Isaac Rodenburg shot 106, and Jase Indra shot 114.
Head coach Andrew Faltys said, “This was not our best meet, but we are still competing!”
