JH Wrestling Finishes Up the Season at Centennial!
Luke Eisenmann and Coal Fernau Wrestle for Leigh

The Clarkson-Leigh junior high wrestling team is only a team of three, but they still had a very successful season.
Levi Gall, Luke Eisenmann, and Coal Fernau were the three wrestlers this year. They began their season at the David City meet on November 12th and finished off the season with the Centennial Invite on December 11th.
In between these two meets, they also wrestled at the Newman Grove Invite, Howells-Dodge Invite, Battle Creek Invite, and Schuyler Invite.
The boys were coached this season by Mr. Tony Horacek and Mr. Jorge Gomez.
At the final Centennial meet, Levi Gall couldn't make it because he was sick with the stomach flu. Otherwise, Gall would have been in the 220-pound weight class.
Eisenmann took home second place in the 120-pound weight class, and Fernau finished at the meet.
Eisenmann said, “We work very hard every day in practice. It was too bad that Levi was sick because he would have probably got first at the meet. I’m very happy with how I placed second, and I’m happy with the season overall. Go Pats.”
