Music Students Prepare for District Music Contest with Concert

The Leigh and Clarkson Music Department held a high school concert on Tuesday evening, April 19, 2022, in the Leigh High School gym. The objective was to give students one last chance to prepare for the District Music Contest taking place later in the week.
Along with the full choir and full band, there were several small groups who performed including a girls’ triple trio, double mixed sextet, and a mixed small ensemble.
Vocal solos were performed by Ashly Guillen and Gabe Pinkston.
For band, Rosie Guillen did a Bass Clarinet Solo, Emily Stender performed a Trombone Solo, Ashly Guillen did a flute solo, and Gabe Pinkston performed a clarinet solo. A flute trio was also performed by Lilly Bunner, Zoey Van Dyke, and Aubrie Hanna.
