High School Welcomes Four New Students

Abygail Coudeyras and Vincent DeBord

When walking down the halls of Leigh High School, one might notice a few new faces this year. Four to be exact. The new students’ names are Dynaha, Vincent, Shelbie, and Abygail.

Vincent DeBord is a seventh grader. He previously lived in Kearney and attended Kearney Middle School. His favorite subject is computers, and he loves playing video games. His favorite thing about Leigh so far is that it has many different classes and you stay with the same people all day. He is the son of Erin and Christopher. He currently lives with his mother, while his three siblings live with his father in Aurora. His siblings are Quinten, 3, Ryan, 7, and James, 9.

Abygail Coudeyras also joins the seventh grade class this year. She is from Humboldt, Nebraska and her last school was H.T.R.S. Public Schools. One of her hobbies is reading and her favorite subject is social studies. Her parent’s names are Mandy and Gerald Coudeyras. Her siblings are Elijah, 9, Shelbie, 15, and Jordyn, 18.

Dynaha Nelson is a freshman this year.  She lives in Stanton and previously attended Stanton Public School.  Her favorite hobby is drawing, and her favorite subject is art. Her parents’ names are Jill and Don Nelson. She has three siblings, Jordan, 25, Nelli, 20, and Joe, 18.

Shelbie Coudeyras is a sophomore this year. Like her younger sister, Abygail, she is from Humboldt, Nebraska, and her last school was H.T.R.S. She says she really doesn’t have a favorite subject, but in her free time she loves to fish. Her parent’s names are Gerald, or JR, and Mandy. She has three siblings. Jordyn, 18, Abby, 12, and Elijah, 9.

We welcome these four new students to Leigh High School and wish them the best this school year!
