Leigh Schools Join the #BeKind Movement
Many schools around the country have joined the #BeKind campaign, and Leigh Community Schools is one of those schools.
The #BeKind campaign started with a family from Ralston: Mark and Jodi Adler. Their family lives with the tragedy of losing their son, Reid, who committed suicide after being bullied at school.
The campaign was started to address bullying, cyberbully, and teenage depression.
Superintendent, Mrs. Stephanie Peterson said, “Leigh Community Schools wanted to be a part of this wonderful campaign. With the help of the staff and a drone, we brought all of the school together for a school wide picture to be a constant reminder to #BeKind.”
Leigh Community Schools will continue to implement the #BeKind message throughout the year.
