Leigh/Clarkson FCCLA Blood Drive

Yet another successful American Red Cross blood drive for the Leigh-Clarkson FCCLA chapter occurred on March 19. Donors started filling in around noon. There was a meal provided after for everyone who offered their time to donate.

 

With all of the donors, the American Red Cross collected 58 units of blood.

 

There were 5 power red donors. They include Randy Brabec, Ronald Bahns, Jay Powell, Lisa Powell, and Daniel Arriaza.

 

49 whole blood donors including Adam Cerv, Vicki Brabec, Sherri Maliha, Brody Boyd, Tom Hamernik, Steven Svitak, Alex Fischer, Darrell Bahns, Susan Cook, Cynthia Steffensmeier, Jeff McAfee, Glen Hake, Mark Hoessel, Janet Eisenmann, Pam Hamernik, Richard Tomasek, Heather Kasik, Mary Stodola, Natalie Reeves, Maureen Machacek, Robin Pokorney, Duane Brabec, Robin Urban, Tiffany Cash, Jayden Pokorney, Melissa Brabec, Brian Maliha, Roxana Drees, Darren Gall, Calvin Urban, Laura Bahns, Joann Settje, Michelle Held, Karla Kahlo, Tiffany Rayback, Lynn Olmer, Margaret Hoult, Laurie Schlautman, Martin Schlautman, Anson Korte, Joani Bruhn, Jerry Baumert, Hanna Hake, Tom Kabes, MaryAnn McMullin, Patti Holmberg, Jon Rodenburg, Bruce Wendt, and Annette Baumert.

 

One first time donor was at the blood drive, Payje Rayback.

 

Megan Hillen, the FCCLA advisor for Leigh/Clarkson had this to say about the blood drive. "We would like to thank all of our donors who were able to give during this time of need. Many of the blood drives in our area have been canceled due to the recent flooding. The Red Cross and the Leigh-Clarkson FCCLA chapter truly appreciate your donation."
