Senior Spotlight: Bianca Aguirre

On December 18, 2000, Joe and late Cristina Aguirre welcomed their kind, passionate, and creative daughter Bianca into the world in McAllen, Texas. Bianca has two older brothers, Mark, age 20 and Luis, age 19, with one younger brother, Jose, age 16. Bianca also has 7 cats living with her.

Throughout high school Bianca participated in One-Act, band and choir and maintained perfect attendance. She says her proudest accomplishment is “being able to get good grades and improve them as I got older.”

When asked what her future plans are, she replied, “I want to go to college and get my associates degree, or possibly my bachelor’s. I want to be a veterinary technician, or possibly a veterinarian in the future.”

If she won a fortune in the lottery, she would probably move to a larger city and go on a vacation with all of her family.

If Bianca could travel anywhere in the world, she would want to travel to California because there are “many great opportunities there.”

Her biggest pet peeve is people who smack their gum and when people talk while a good song or movie is playing.

In 10-15 years, Bianca sees herself married and hopefully owning her own home. She wants to be to the point where she doesn’t have many loans to pay back.

Three goals on her bucket-list that she would like to accomplish in her life is to own her own house, own a car, and travel to Texas.

“I really admire my dad.,” Bianca said. “He raised four kids by himself and I am proud of the great job he did.”

Bianca’s favorite high school memory is “the Goodwill project she did with the elementary school for her Tech. Apps. class.”

Some of Bianca’s favorite hobbies are cooking and chilling with her cats.  Her favorite subject is Tech. Apps; movie, The Pursuit of Happiness; song, Beautiful by Bazzi and Camila; sports team, Cowboys; food, tacos; restaurant, El Mezcal.

Her most embarrassing moment is when she slipped in front of a teacher.

The last thing that Bianca wants to let all underclassmen is, “If you ever feel like giving up, don’t. It’s just the beginning to a bright future.”
