JH VB Cages the Jaguars
They say volleyball is ninety percent heart, ten percent skill, and ten percent passion. You always give one hundred and ten percent! And that is what the JH volleyball girls did on Monday, October 7 when they crushed the Howells-Dodge Jaguars!
The B team won in two sets, the C team played an exhibition set to 25 and lost by two. And the A team won in two sets 25-13, 25-7.
“We all went into the game with our heads high and it paid off,” said Tanyn Larson, an eighth grader at Leigh.
“All the girls played really well,” junior high coach Mr. Seth Cash said. I thought last night’s game was the first complete game we have played. The girls were smart and aggressive. They never allowed Howells to get any momentum. All around a nice job.”
