Two Wrestlers Medal at Wisner
The Patriot wrestling team traveled to Wisner for their final tournament before the Christmas break on December 16th.
Overall, the team finished 8th out of 17 teams in team points with 61. The team had two medalists: Levi Gall and Morgan Bunner. Gall finished 1st in the 285 weight class winning all 5 matches, while Bunner finished 2nd in the 126 class going 4-1 on the day.
Coach Molacek said, “I think everyone wrestled extremely well. Going in we knew it was going to be tough, but everyone got after it and it showed in our performance on the mat. I’m excited to watch everyone improve for the rest of this season.”
Sophomore Brett Wemhoff said, “It was a good learning experience for me as well as the team.”
