Patriots Host 2nd Annual Wrestling Tournament
Leigh Community Schools was a busy place on Friday, February 2nd, as a total of 20 wrestling teams competed in the second annual Patriot Invite in the high school gym.
This all took place while both the high school and elementary were having school, and it took a lot of coordination and effort to keep everything running smoothly.
Of all the teams that competed, Wahoo Bishop-Neumann won the tournament, and Clarkson-Leigh placed 13th overall.
The Pats had two wrestlers medal in this day of tough competition. Levi Gall placed 3rd and Andrew Rivera placed 2nd.
Senior wrestler Morgan Bunner said, “It was a good day of competition with a lot of good wrestlers to prepare us to go into districts next week.”
