L to J is a vocabulary building activity that all my classes participate in. The students are given a list of all vocabulary words for the year at the start of school. We take a weekly quiz on the first day of each school week. The class scores are averaged together to come up with their score. Each semester is a separate competition with the winning class receiving a party at the end of the semester.
