Freshmen Learn More About FFA

Every year, freshmen FFA members get the chance to attend “Greenhand Day” at Central Community College in Columbus. This year, Leigh FFA had 13 members attend on September 6th. At Greenhand Day, new FFA members all across Northeast Nebraska get the chance to learn more about the competitions, leadership roles, and other events in FFA.

One of the freshmen who attended Greenhand Day, Carmen Malena, said, “Greenhand Day was a day well spent with some of my chapter members. We spent the day learning about many things that are important in the FFA world. We learned a lot and had fun!”
