Senior Spotlight: Mackenzie Williams

On January 2nd, 2001, in Little Falls, Minnesota, Robert and Nickole Williams were blessed with their oldest daughter Mackenzie Deshea Williams.

Mackenzie has one brother, Zane (15), and multiple pets, including two ferrets, Dehlia and Lucy, a turtle named Gracie, and two dogs, Cutie and Bear.

Mackenzie has been involved in multiple activities throughout her high school career including the dance team for 1 year and One-Act for 3 years. She has also danced at Barb’s School of Dance in Columbus for 12 years.

Mackenzie is a very interesting senior, as one can tell by her biggest pet peeve being when people eat Kit Kats the wrong way. If she won the lottery, Mackenzie says she would go on a really expensive vacation, or go on a cruise. If she could travel anywhere in the world, she would go to Ireland or Greenland because they’re both really pretty. If she had to pick three words to describe her, they would be sassy, “extra,” and kind.

Mackenzie’s favorites hobbies include sleeping, watching Netflix, making art, watching The Conjuring movies, listening to Temporary Home by Carrie Underwood, and eating pickles. Her favorite high school memory is always arguing with the rest of the class.

One person Mackenzie admires in her life is her cousin Katie because “early in her life, she made some and decisions that took her down a bad road, but she turned her life around for the better. Her situation showed me that no matter how far down the wrong road you go, you can get out of it with a lot of hard work.”

Mackenzie’s future plans consist of going to Bemidji State University in Minnesota to be a Certified Nurse or an Anesthesiologist.

Good luck Mackenzie on your future endeavors!
