JH VBall Season Continues
The junior high Patriot volleyball team went up against Humphrey Lindsay Holy Family on September 11th and against Lakeview on September 18th then against Twin River on September 21st.
On September 11th the volleyball team went up against Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family and lost the first 2 sets.
The volleyball team lost to Lakeview but they put up a fight. They put in great effort to try to win but all 3 teams lost to Lakeview.
The game against Twin River was a good game and the C team won though the A and B team lost. It was a game that every tried to do their best.
JH Coach Mrs. Jennifer Maliha said, “These games have been really competitive and have really challenged our serve receive game.”
Seventh-grader Averi Clausen said for the Lakeview game, ”It was a rough game for us, but we did improve greatly. The A, B, and C team didn't lose without trying. The coaches corrected us about our mistakes and how we could've improved. Tuesday, after the game, we had practice and we went over everything we did good and bad. Then, we went on with our normal practice. Every team will have wins and losses, but either way, you win as a team and lose as a team.”
