School Staff Honored for Years of Service

Leigh Community Schools honored seven school staff members at the annual back-to-school banquet for reaching milestones in their years of service.  

The following plaques were awarded:

Mr. Jay Knaak - High School Math - 5 years of service

Mrs. Robin Urban - Kindergarten - 10 years of service

Mr. Tom Huisman - Maintenence - 15 years of service

Mrs. Cindy Settje - 3rd Grade - 20 years of service

Mrs. Cindy Wieseler - Elementary Library - 20 years of service

Mr. Gary Brabec - Bus Driver - 20 years of service

Mrs. Vicki Brabec - Elementary Title - 40 years of service

This was the first year staff members received plaques.  The school board plans to continue this tradition in years to come for any staff members who reach five-year milestones.  They wish all teachers and students a great school year!
