Art Students Visit Joslyn Museum
Launch the media gallery 1 playerDegas…Chihuly…Renoir…all famous artists that have their artwork displayed at the Joslyn museum. This is where the Leigh and Clarkson art students went for a field trip on November 16 to learn more about the different artists and gain a better understanding of their artwork.
Art teacher Ann Cerv, along with 23 students, attended the annual trip where they took part in a museum scavenger hunt as part of the experience. Students who attended include Zane Williams, Emily Loseke, Jose Aguirre, Maddie Noonan, Kayden Schumacher, Justine Thompson, Kaegan Held, Holly Kuhr, Cortlynn Cadwallader, Reagan Settjie, Nestor Mendoza, Meranda Kudrna, Maddie Pelan, Mackenzie Williams, and Kevin Becerril.
Students always enjoy this experience.
Kayden Schumacher, sophomore at Leigh High School said, “I thought it was a great experience for us to go as an art class because it really made us understand what Mrs. Cerv was teaching us even more and helped us learn more about the artists.”
