Patriot Youth Tournament Held
On Saturday, September 10, the annual Patriot youth tournament, put on the Patriot Youth Council, was held in Clarkson for fourth, fifth, and sixth graders. Nearly 30 teams in three grade levels competed in the tournament!
The Patriot 4th graders were split into two teams: a red team and a blue team. They had 8 total teams in their pool. They played a round robin and not an actual tournament. Fourth-grade Blue went 4-4 with their sets for the day. Fourth-grade Red went 7-3.
The 5th graders had 11 teams competing in their pool. They won all four of their games and placed first overall!
The 6th graders had 10 teams competing in their group. They tied one of their games, won one, and lost two, finishing third in their pool.
Overall, the tournament went great and the outlook for the future of Patriot volleyball is bright!
