Juniors Explore College Options

On Wednesday, September 20th, the LHS juniors attended a college fair at Central Community College in Columbus. They got to speak with numerous different colleges and get ideas on where to go after graduation.

LHS Guidance counselor Mrs. Maddie Gall stated, “The juniors really utilized this event. I was very impressed by how many colleges each student talked to!” There were colleges from all over the Midwest including colleges from Nebraska, South Dakota, Kansas, Iowa, Wyoming, and Missouri.

Junior Emily Stender said, “The career fair was a great experience for all of us for our future. We all looked at great colleges and we figured out what certain colleges provide. We all had fun and planned out our future for college.”

Overall, the college fair was a success and everyone learned something from it.
