Andrew Rivera and Cassandra Rayback Named Homecoming Royalty

On October 6, both Leigh and Clarkson named their Homecoming King and Queen at
the football game against Cross County. 


This year's girl candidates from Leigh were Tanyn Larson, Macy Clausen, Gracie
EIsenmann, and Cassandra Rayback. The boy candidates were Jordan Noonan, James
Grotelueschen, Dylan Higby, and Andrew Rivera. 


The 2023 Jr. Court from Leigh are Kashmir Fischer, daughter of Cole and Justine
Fischer and Kale Wietfeld, son of Matt and Emily Wietfeld. Both are first graders at Leigh
Elementary.


The girl candidates from Clarkson are Jolie Stoklasa, Sage Fernau, Alyssa Gurnsey,
Chloe Hanel, and Addie McAtee. The boy candidates are Isaac Baumert, Ryan Brichachek, Max
Muhle, Trey Steffensmeier, and Christian Hamernik. 


Last year's king and queen Korbee Wendt and Dalton Zulkoski crowned this year's king
and queen. 


This year's King and Queen from Leigh were Andrew Rivera and Cassandra Rayback!
This year's King and Queen from Clarkson were Max Muhle and Jolie Stoklasa!
Information about the Homecoming court was read as follows:


Macy Clausen is the daughter of Michele and Heath Clausen; her siblings are Averi and
Jase. In high school she has participated in Dance, National Honor Society, Youth
Advisory Committee, FCCLA, FFA, Yearbook, Journalism and One Act.


Macy plans to attend the College of Hair Design in Lincoln, for a Cosmetology
and an Esthetician degree.


James Grotelueschen is the son of Mark and Mary Grotelueschen. He has a sister,
Riana. During High School James has been involved in: Football, Wrestling, Golf, One Act, FFA,
Journalism, National Honor Society and Youth Advisory Committee. His future plans are to
attend Southeast Community College for Diesel Mechanics.


Gracie Eisenmann is the daughter of Kimberly and Dave Eisenmann; she has three
brothers: Jacob, Luke, and Wyatt. Her High School involvement has included Volleyball,
Basketball, Track, One Act, Journalism, Yearbook, FCCLA, FFA, Youth Advisory Committee
and National Honor Society. Gracie is planning to attend either Wayne State College or USD,
Vermillion, majoring in Nursing.


Dylan Higby is the son of Katie and Nate Higby. His siblings are Ella, Brantley and
Beckett. Throughout High School he has been involved in Football, Wrestling, Track, FFA, One
Act, Journalism, Student Council and Youth Advisory Committee. Dylan plans to attend
Northeast Community College majoring in Animal Science.


Tanyn Larson is the daughter of Kelsey and Bob Larson. Her siblings are Taylor, Tyce
and Taytum. During her High School career Tanyn has participated in Volleyball, Track, FCCLA,
National Honor Society, Journalism, Yearbook and One Act. She plans to attend Northeast
Community College and major in Nursing.


Jordan Noonan is the son of Kim and Greg Noonan and the late Shawn Noonan; his
siblings are Makenzie Noonan, Madison Noonan, Karlie Nuss, Sarah Phillips and Meranda
Kudrna. Throughout High School he has been involved in Football, Basketball, One Act, FFA,
Youth Advisory Committee, National Honor Society and has been a class officer. Jordan is
planning to attend UNL and major in Mechanical Engineering.


Cassandra Rayback is the daughter of Tiffany and Anthony Rayback. Her siblings are
Payje, Kyleigh, Matelyn and Brinx. She has participated in Softball, Basketball, Track, FCCLA,
Journalism, One Act, Yearbook and Youth Advisory Committee. Cassi’s future plans are to
attend Northeast Community College and major in Nursing.

Andrew Rivera is the son of Nicole Sandoval and Adrian Zacarias and Ana Zacarius. His
siblings are Dee, Josefina and Tianna. During High School Andrew has been involved in
Football, Wrestling, One-Act and Journalism. He plans to attend Northeast Community College
majoring in Welding.
