Volleyball Takes Care of Business in Schuyler

On September 28, the volleyball team played against Schuyler. The Warriors were no match for the Pats, as the C team, JV, and Varsity all came out with a sweep.

Kammy Held, a junior at LHS, stated, “We took care of business at all three levels versus Schuyler. It was a fun game for everyone to get a chance to play, and we took the win. We look forward to keep getting better during the season as a team.”

Schuyler is a great team to play against and it was also a great opportunity to show what they practice.

The C team won both sets 25-3 and 25-11.  The JV team won both sets as well, 25-7 and 25-15.

The varsity later also won all three games, 25-9, 25-10, and 25-15.

Assistant Coach Mr. Tyler Brester stated, “I was very happy with how the girls competed at all levels. From the first serve to the last point, the girls took care of business and played Patriot volleyball. It's fun to see the girls clicking and playing a clean brand of ball. Hopefully we can continue this and ride our momentum into conference and the postseason.”
