Patriot JV VB Battles in a Triangular
Clarkson-Leigh JV volleyball headed down to Howells on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 to compete in a triangular against Howells-Dodge and Humphrey-Lindsay Holy Family.
The first game that the patriots played was against HLHF and it was a close match. The Patriots ended up losing 19-25 in the first set and 16-25 in the second set.
The second matchup of the night was against the Jaguars. The patriots ended up winning in two sets making it 25-20 the first set and 25-19 in the second set.
Assistant Coach Ms. Hiatt said, “We played well, the girls have continued to improve throughout the season. We came out with low energy the first game, but our energy was better the second game, which was a key factor in the game.”
“The first game against Humphrey-Lindsay Holy Family didn't go as well as we wanted to. We went into the second game against Howells Dodge with a lot more energy and positivity to finish up the night with a win,” said freshman Madilyn Freudenburg.
