C Team Triumphs in 2 of 3 Matches at Home Quad
Bump, Set, Spike! Clarkson-Leigh Patriots came to win! The Clarkson- Leigh C-team had a quad on Monday, September 16 at home, which included Wayne, Madison and Lakeview. The Clarkson-Leigh team won two out of the three games they played!
The girls lost to Wayne, but went on to defeat Madison and Lakeview.
Coach Hegemann stated, “I was disappointed how we started out the quad, but really proud of the girls on their finish. We lost our first set to Wayne 10-25, but the girls battled back, but came up short 23-25. Our second game was against Madison, who we saw earlier this year. We won in two, and put our focus on not settling and playing to the Patriot standard. Our final game was against Lakeview, who we also beat in two sets. Now we have a full week of practice to continue to get better!”
Sophomore JV defensive specialist Natalie Brabec said, "We started rough playing Wayne, but we found our groove and won against Madison and Lakeview. I am proud of our team for coming back and winning. A full week of practice will help us this week.”
