Leigh One-Act 2020 Performance Schedule
Leigh One-Act Play season is underway! This year’s production is Spamalot, the musical version of Monty Python and the Holy Grail! 35 Leigh students are on the cast, and 15 are on the crew, making for a total of 50 students participating! The play is directed this year by Justine Fischer, Megan Hillen, and Michkayla Wietfeld.
The performance schedule is listed below. The coaches, actors, and crew members really hope the community will support them by attending one or more of their performances, especially the November 29 community evening performance! The play team will also be holding a Krispy Kreme donut fundraiser soon to cover help cover expenses traditionally raised by concession stands at district and conference performances. Donuts can be picked up at the November 29 evening performance, or will be delivered to you by a One-Act member if you cannot attend! Any support is greatly appreciated!
Performance Schedule:
Tuesday, November 17—EHC Conference One-Act Competition (at old Leigh High School gym)—Hosted by Humphrey—open to judges only--no students or audiences allowed to watch due to COVID-19 restrictions
Friday, November 20—Leigh High School Matinee Performance—1:30 pm at NEW Leigh High School gym—audiences allowed, freewill donation appreciated
Sunday, November 29—Community Evening Performance—7 pm at NEW Leigh High School gym--Audiences allowed, freewill donation appreciated (Please note, there will NOT be a Travel Club meal with this performance as there has been in years past due to COVID-19 precautions)
Wednesday, December 2—Class D-2 District Competition Performance—hosted at NEW Leigh High School gym—performance times and audience protocols to be determined soon
