FCCLA Sponsors Blood Drive at St. Mary’s

On Tuesday, March 16, the Leigh-Clarkson FCCLA held a blood drive. This blood drive took place at the St. Mary’s church where many citizens turned out to donate. 

            Leigh-Clarkson FCCLA officer Alicia Holmberg, who helped host the blood drive, said, "Running these drives through FCCLA has been a great experience. It's a great opportunity to help serve the community and save lives at the same time. I would like to thank all of the community members who were able to squeeze this into their schedule and those who worked with me to make sure that we were able to meet our goal." 

            We would like to thank the Whole Blood donors: Steven Svitak, Roxanna Drees, Kim Hoesly, Roger Bruhn, Marcus Urban, Glen Hake, Jeff McAfee, Don Hoessel, Mark Hoessel, Michael Hanna, Sandy Muhle, Heather Kasik, Dave Eisenmann, Richard Tomasek, Tom Kabes, Tom Schulze, Jane Zabka, Margaret Hoult, Dianna Went, Calvin Wemhoff, Michael Harney, Wesley Went, Darrell Bahns, Cynthia Kratochvil, Carolyn Olson, Darren Gall, Chris Herink, Renee Lund, Michele Clausen, Kelli Hoffman, Tiffany Rayback, Jessica Brabec, Mike Settje, Annette Baumert, Jennifer Hanna, Anna Pickhinke, Lynn Olmer, Luann Geier, Judy Paprocki, and Janet Eisenmann. 

Along with the Whole Blood donors, we would also like to thank the Power Red donors: Russ Herink, Ernest Cech, Jay Powell, Bob Larson, and Tim Wietfeld. 

FCCLA advisor Mrs. Megan Hillen said, “Thank you to everyone who took the time to donate at our March drive and to the volunteers who helped everything run smoothly.
