Girls Track Team Wins HLHF Meet!
On Wednesday, May 3, 2023, the Clarkson Leigh Patriot track team headed to Humphrey for the Humphrey-Lindsay Holy Family track meet. The team competed very well and had one of the best meets yet. Many Patriot athletes set their personal bests and all competed hard. The boys placed 8th out of 10 teams, while the girls took 1st out of 8 total teams!
Senior Korbee Wendt had a great day and had said, "This meet was a great way to wrap up our regular season. It was a very competitive meet and such a great day. It was also good for the girls to finally bring home the gold.”
Junior Cassi Rayback, who also competed, said, “It was a beautiful day for all athletes to show their best competition. Everyone competed well, and we had many girls place. Overall, it was a successful meet.”
