Large Track Team Looks for Success
Track practice started on March 10, 2026, with an astounding 47 kids going out this year.
There are 15 freshmen boys and girls out for track, including Averi Clausen, Avery Kuester, Kannon Clarkson, Alaina Sayers, Tynzlee Hake, Emma Bereznai, Taelyn Baumert, Gracie Brabec, Jaxon Rodenburg, Jaxon Rave, Henry Voborny, Gabe Kahlo, Ryan Steffensmeier, Jacob Fenster, and Hudson Corder.
There are also 13 sophomore girls and boys out for track, including Lainey Urban, Courtney Anderson, Makenna Scott, Josie Brabec, Bailey Rios, Sophia Henriquez, Chloe Indra, Easton Brabec, Cade Hoesly, Aidan Ellsworth, Hunter Gall, Logan Stodola, and Cole Vodehnal. Juniors include Kaylee Brabec, Carmen Malena, Reann Bruhn, Vylet Hollatz, Reese Wietfeld, Emersyn Urban, Maizie Stoklasa, Claire Holoubek, Raelynn Scott, Chelsy Matthies, Ava Baumert, Ella Baumert, Kyla Clarkson, Blake Loseke, and Jeryn Struebing.
Finally, there are 4 seniors, including Lexis Gleason, Kendall Schneider, George Waterman, and Levi Gall.
Junior Blake Loseke said, I'm looking forward to what this season has to bring. We have a few different meets that we didn't have last year, so we get to see some different competition.”
The team is coached by Briana Wietfeld, Lee Schneider, Brianne Bachman, Kim Heimann, and Jim Clarkson.
Assistant Coach Brianne Bachman said, “I think it will be a good year again. We are going to mostly the same meets, but we have good numbers and I'm excited for the year.”
