Patriots Take Down Titans
September 22nd was a great night for the Patriot football team to head down to Genoa
to play against the Twin River Titans. The Patriots had great success and came out with a
victory with a final score of 44-6.
Senior Dylan Higby led the Patriots that night with a total of 24 points. In all, the team
had a total of 6 touchdowns and 365 yards, most of them rushing yards. The defense had a total
of 31 tackles.
Coach Murren said, “It was great to see the boys come up and execute both offensively
and defensively at a level we've been looking for. To hold them to 6 points and control the game
for the full game was a big step for us. It was a fantastic way to enter a two-week break with the
bye week as we prepared for a big game against Cross County."
Senior Nathan Bahns said, “It was a very good game. We learned a lot as a team, and
we kicked some butt and took some names.”
