Patriots Lose to Shelby-RC in JH Football

The Clarkson Leigh Patriots Junior High football team battled against the Shelby/Rising City Huskies in an away game on Monday September 23.

They battled four long quarters to barely fall short in the end, 20-32. Wyatt Eisenmann, an 8th grader on the team, said, “We started off slow in the first half, but got going in the second half.”

Coach Jeff Bachman said, “We got off to a slow start in the 1st half, but picked it up in the 2nd half. I was happy with the fight we showed and it is fun to see our guys continue to grow & improve.” It was their third game of the season, and this loss now puts them at 1-2.
