Leigh and Clarkson Schools Celebrate FFA Week

(L to R): LHS Sophomores Audie Tejkl, Kanyon Held, and Jacob Eisenmann post next to their tractors during "Alternate Vehicle Day" for FFA Week.

During February 24-28, students around the country celebrated National FFA Week. During FFA week at Leigh and Clarkson schools, there was a different activity or event held every day.

Sophomore Audie Tejkl said, “I think that FFA week went great.  It's a great way to get the school involved in our organization.”

To start off FFA Week on Monday, students searched for FFA logos posted around the school. They turned them into Mrs. Held for a prize.

On Tuesday, students gathered in the Leigh cafeteria for donuts, while students in Clarkson showed their FFA pride by wearing their t-shirts.

Wednesday showed the students supporting Ag brands by wearing clothes for companies such as John Deere.

Students in Leigh showed off their FFA t-shirts on Thursday, while students in Clarkson started their morning off with donuts.

Friday students drove their alternate vehicles to school. Tractors covered the parking lots. Students also played an Ag Kahoot over Patriot Period in their Patriot Cup teams.

FFA week was full of fun activities where the school was able to learn more about FFA and everything it has to offer.
