Cyclones Down Polk County

By: Cassandra Rayback, a sophomore at Leigh High School

After having a very successful weekend at the Wisner Invite, the Cyclones took a nice trip down to Stromsburg, where they played Polk County on August 30.

With having good defense and solid at-bats, the varsity Cyclones were able to bring home the win 17-9. Jaedyn Ratzlaff came to the ballpark and meant business, driving in four runs on three hits. The Cyclones had a total of 20 hits, with many players collecting multiple hits.

“They got down to business and it was overall a great game to watch,” stated head coach, Adam Indra.
